Kerstin Tracy has been a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist in the state of Florida since 1999.
She was born and raised in Germany, where she graduated from Europe's most renowned University for Physical Education and Sports Science, Deutsche Sporthochschule Koeln/German Sport University. Even though she had started her PhD program and already worked as a research assistant, Kerstin realized that there was something more and different for her to explore. Up until this point she looked at the world with the eyes of a scientist.
After graduating, Kerstin studied holistic health and realized that being a part of the healing community was her true inner calling. Most convincing was her own journey to health after dealing with and successfully healing intestinal and kidney issues. After moving to Florida and becoming a licensed massage therapist, a desire to bring all acquired knowledge into the session was born, there was still a part missing. Kerstin loved reading Dr. Upledger's column in the Massage Today issues and soon decided to take one of his classes. She experienced the power of the gentle touch first hand when she had to be on the table for the first time and the therapist put her hands on Kerstin's right knee. She started feeling an enormous sensation of relief in that area even though the touch was so light.
With the birth of her own children, Kerstin's heart opened big and wide to all the little ones already born or soon to be born. At the same time, her massage practice also led her to attend to the older generation, which has been a wonderfully fulfilling experience.
"I feel extremely honored and blessed to be able to embrace the natural circle of life through my profession, by being present for the ones coming into our world and the ones leaving this earth experience. It is a very warm and loving atmosphere that cannot be described in words, but has to be experienced."
Today, thanks to Kerstin's training at the Upledger Institute, she can be present for you.
